At Teter Retreat & Organic Farm, we believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food and opportunities to connect with the land and one another.
Every year, Teter grows and donates thousands of servings of fresh, organic produce to neighbors experiencing food insecurity throughout Central Indiana. We welcome families, students, and volunteers to learn, grow, and connect.
But as the needs of our community continue to grow, so must our capacity to meet them.
Through the $1.5 million More to Nourish Campaign, we’re investing in the infrastructure needed to grow and distribute more produce, welcome more people, and expand hands-on education for generations to come.

Growing Our Impact: The More to Nourish Campaign
Teter has proven its mission. Now, we need the infrastructure to match our impact.
The More to Nourish Campaign will support three interconnected investments that will expand our ability to serve the community.
New Produce Production Barn
A new 3,450+ square-foot production barn will provide commercial-grade produce storage, year-round processing space, and dedicated areas for volunteers, staff, and educational programming. With expanded capacity to grow, process, and distribute fresh food, Teter can nourish more neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Woodland Trail & Accessibility Improvements
A new accessible woodland trail and improvements throughout the property will help ensure visitors of all abilities can experience the beauty of Teter along the White River, connect with nature, and participate more fully in everything the farm offers.
Educational Zones
New hands-on learning environments—including an apiary, food forest, and prairie—will expand opportunities for students, families, and community groups to learn about agriculture, ecology, nutrition, pollinators, and environmental stewardship.
Together, these investments will make Teter more productive, more accessible, and better equipped to serve our growing community.
